 আজ হোটেলে দুপুরের খাবার খেলাম। একটা ডিমভর্তা আর একটু পাতলা ডাল। পঞ্চাশ টাকা বিল এলো। বলা যায় অনেকদিন পর দুপুরে খেলাম। মাথার উপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে ওয়েটার। তাকেও বখসিশ দিতে হয়। পাঁচটাকা তো দেয়া যায় না। ওয়েটারকে বলতে পারলাম না আরেক প্লেট ভাত দিন। তার কাজ বাড়ানো মানে বখসিশ দেয়ার রাস্তা বের হওয়া। খেয়ে উঠে এলাম।  ইদানিং সাহসে কুলায় না খরচ বাড়াতে। রিকশাচালককে সহজে ডাকি না। চেষ্টা করি হাঁটার। ভাড়াতো বাঁচে।   ইদানিং সাহসে কুলায় না খরচ বাড়াতে। বিকেলের টিফিন বাদ দিয়েছি। জিহবা বড্ড ত্যাদর। রুচি বাড়ছে। মিষ্টি টাইপের কিছু খেলে বলে ঝাল খাবা না?  ইদানিং সাহসে কুলায় না খরচ বাড়াতে। সদাইপাতি কিনতে গেলে দোকানী টুকটাক বেশি দিয়ে দেয়। দেখা গেল পয়তাল্লিশ টাকা বিল হলো। বলে বসে দাদা পঞ্চাশটাকার মিল করে দিই।  এসব ধানাইপানাই যেন না করে তাই আগেই বলে দেই, খবরদার বেশি দেবেন না। পারলে একটু কম দেবেন। ইদানিং সাহসে কুলায় না।  চা খেতে গেলে বিপদ। দোকানী বড্ড ফাজিল। এত সুন্দর করে দুধচা বানায় মনে হয় একটু পরপর খাই। কেন এতো সুন্দর টেস্ট করে বানাবি তুই বেটা!  পাঁচটাকার চা পনের টাকা। খাবোই না আর চ...
